Preparing your Files for Export
File Formats:
- Accepted file type: AIFF, WAV or Pro Tools Session
- Accepted bit depth and sample rate: 16-24 bit / 48k-192kHz Resolution
- Include Rough Mixes and Reference Mixes
How to Export::
- Set the range of your song and make all your files the same length/duration
- Separate all sounds into one instrument per track
- Print/Render/Bounce your tracks from the beginning of your song to the end
- Archive all Tracks into a .zip or .rar File
- Include any stereo track of your Rough Mixes and Reference Mixes
Pro Tools
Pro Tools Export Steps:
- Choose File > Save Copy In
- From the Save Copy In window set Format to” Session (Latest)”
- In the Session Parameters sections confirm your “Audio File Type”, “Sample Rate”, and “Bit Depth”
- In the Items to Copy section check “All Audio Files” and “Session Plug-In Settings Folder”
- Click “OK.”
- Choose a destination on your computer to save the file.
- Locate the folder you recently saved and compress (zip) the folder.
- Once the folder is compressed, complete the remote mix & master form below and send us your zip file using the upload button.
Logic
Logic Export Steps:
- Choose File > Save Copy In
- From the Save Copy In window set Format to” Session (Latest)”
- In the Session Parameters sections confirm your “Audio File Type”, “Sample Rate”, and “Bit Depth”
- In the Items to Copy section check “All Audio Files” and “Session Plug-In Settings Folder”
- Click “OK.”
- Choose a destination on your computer to save the file.
- Locate the folder you recently saved and compress (zip) the folder.
- Once the folder is compressed, complete the remote mix & master form below and send us your zip file using the upload button.
Reason
Reason Export Steps:
- In Reason open, “Your Song”
- Select the range of your song
- Choose File > Bounce Mixer Channels
- In The Mixer Channel section Check all the channels that you want to bounce
- Uncheck the master section and FX1 Thru FX8
- In the Apply Mixer Settings section select “All Except Fader Section…”
- In the Range to Bounce section select “Loop (Left to Right Locator)”
- In the Bounce section select “Audio Files On Disk”
- In the Format section, choose the File Type, Sample Rate and Bit Depth
- Choose a destination on your computer to save the file
- Once bounce is complete, locate the folder you recently saved and compress (zip) the folder
- Once the folder is compressed, complete the remote mix & master form below and send us your zip file using the upload button
